It's actually a 1984 JMP 2104 that I've put in a small Plexi headbox Apparently, Marshall still made JMP models for Scandinavia after '81

The JMP is set on the verge of breakup. The gain is coming 99% from the pedal

Marshall made JMP rockerswitch models for the scandinavian and canadian marked up to '83. They often don't say "Super Lead MK2" on the back... just plain with red warning etching.

I love the Plexitone into a Marshall also both as boost or as OD in the low input.

This comparison is cool and relevant to this thread. These pedals sound good pushing marshall circuits it would seem. At 50$ the Joyo seems to be a good addition to JCM800 and JMP owners..

I had the Joyo Hot Plexi for a short while. It sounded good with my 1959 clone, but the all the knobs, especially the "Dist" knob, were really "sensless". I mean there was really no tweakability. It was either on 1 or on full blast, nothing in the middle. It could be that my pedal had a bad pot or something like that, but I have read something similar on the 'net from other users. I found the Ultimate Drive (OCD clone?!) to work a whole lot better with my setup.
