So many people have been asking for this and I have been so slammed but I took the day and made these videos. They go through using the amps in the studio with comments from some of the producers and guitarist who have been using them both and we also do some on the fly playing. The last 6 minutes or so of video #2 are unmixed high res tracks that were discussed previously in both video. So it's cool, first you get to hear what the guitarist/producer was thinking while he tracked and then you can hear the same clips unmixed and uninterrupted. It's unlike any amp demo I've ever seen but I thought you'd guys might get a kick out of it. Personally I love stuff like this, it can spark creativity. I hope you enjoy! I made this because I really believe in these amps, they have made my job as a producer/guitarist better. They are built like tanks and sound fabulous.

sick tone =0 that super 78 is seriously GAS inducing, i have a custom 100 dr103 from 76, but it's a different beast altogether heh

Yeah the DR103 is a different beast then the Super 78 for sure. I think the Super 78 is more versatile in that you can cover a ton of musical styles with it.

Strange that you guys are discussing the sustain of the amp while I was thinking "hmm, sustain lacks" . Maybe it was that Ibanez Steve V guitar ?

Another thing I've been meaning to ask you James: what happened to that great looking tall Scumback you got during the high-gain shootout ? You didn't like it afterall ?

Yeah that Via guitar kind of suck IMO. Zero sustain but on the Paul you really hear it.

I still have the Scumback cab..

Hey I wonder where you got the idea for this kind of amp demo clip? ;) :D

Just messin' with ya - sounds killer and really presents the amp because you get to hear it in multiple contexts...

Wow, Those amps sounded great! Thanks you guys for doing this, I know you guys are busy and I appreciate the time taken to do this. I am one of the people wanting to hear this, now, I just need to pick one!

yeah, thanx for doing this as I have been looking for more clips since hearing the super 78 at the shootout and loving it! I was curious about the jimmy also but didnt care as much for it as I did the 78. The jimmy didnt seem to hold together as good when driven hard and the crunch was lacking a bit compared to the 78 at least. Now u gave me gas yet again!!
