I love the Bc Rich's from back in the day. I played some high-end Eagles at Ed Roman's CT place and fell in love. I'd like to pick up an old gunslinger and a widow bass

As a teenager, my first good guitars were BC Richs...a shorthorn Mockingbird and a Stealth.

Early 80's...fear the mullet!

The Stealth was stolen in '88...I'd still love to find it someday.

Rupe those guitars would fetch a lot of cash these days!!!

Anyone ever own one of the ones with the 27 switches/knobs on it ? I always wondered how useful they were. The only one I ever saw at a store had a sold tag on it, and they weren't too keen on me checking it out.

They can be but it's all in what you're going for and what amp you have. Here is a run down on the Double neck Bich's active electronics

I have such a hard on lately for a Warlock or an Ironbird... they have this new one called a Warbird too that makes me all gooey.

I think thats an import if that matters.

I've always wanted a natural colored maple topped Mockingbird and a Bich 6. Awesome looking guitars. Can you get either for cheap somehow these days? I'm not looking for a super expensive guitar.

The old Vintage BC Richs go for a ton of cash these days on ebay. Look for some Calibre Series BC Richs. They were made in europe and I've read good things about them. Try here...

No sense in buying a Bich Six. Buy the Perfect 10 and if you want the six, leave the 4 extra strings off.

If it sounds good and plays good...

agreed. not sure about those EMGs... Somehow, I feel like I should have one "flat out death metal" guitar.

That's what I'm looking at. Always wanted a 9 string, so this would be great.

What's the difference between the 10 and the Perfect 10? Is the Perfect 10 just a nicer guitar, or is there a difference in tuning/hardware/ect..?
