I've got some stuff up on CL, and this company has contacted me about filling out some forms and selling it to them. Here's the E-mail for reference:

Hello,

I am the owner of Vintage City Guitars, and we are very interested in buying your guitar. We can send you a check or paypal right away. If you are interested please CLICK HERE and fill in the form.

Thank you,
Steven Jay

Seems a bit fishy to me.

Anyone have any experience with them?

I just had the same experience that you. I was selling an old Aria Pro II bass and they contacted me. I filled out their online form, emailed pics - they're supposed to be sending me a "package" that describes the process - I'm skeptical too, but we'll see.

I will - so far everything seems legit - they answer emails quickly, their website looks legit - I'll let you know how it goes!

What kind of Aria Bass? I had two older SBs sell for stupid money on Ebay in the last two weeks.

I'd have to agree. I e-mailed them back from the initial CL interest e-mail, and they got back to me in minutes.

Here's some pics - I don't know what it is. But it sounds like crap   ! Looks like I'll get $250 for it easy enough, which is $150 more than I paid for it...
