Hey all.

I am considering having my Roadster modded, as I am quite happy with the amp, but its just missing the last (and crucial) 10%, for my liking.

Has anyone had any experience with Voodoo ( http://www.voodooamps.com ) modded amps? Worth the money?

Thanks.

I had a Stilletto modded with the whole package.
To me it was WAY overpriced for the changes
in tone to the amp. In fact, I sold right after :aww:

From all I've heard about the Voodoo modded Roadster/Rectifier series, it's the best there is. If I ever get one, it would be Voodoo modded without a question. Check out the DR clips on their site and see what you think. Everyone I've ever heard from that has gotten that mod loves it and keeps it. If it were me, I'd do it now!

I fucking love my Voodoo Modded Marshall JMP MKII. I haven't heard a Voodoo modded recto personally but if they can fix Mesa tone, all the better. In all seriousness I love Voodoo mods. They are worth the money in my opinion but I don't buy and sell amps every day, I keep them for life. You won't find better customer service thats for sure. I suggest taking some time and sending them some audio clips of the kind of tone you want.

Your profile states that you are from Spain. If you are there right now, I would definitely not risk shipping an amp both ways for a mod. The shipping costs are going to be crazy on top of the mod itself. Seriously, that's going to be at least $800 for a possible 10% gain in tone. Since you live in Euro land, why not check out some Diezels? Just my opinion.
