Posting this for a friend:
"I am looking to buy either a VoxAC15C1 or the handwired version. I found a pretty good deal on the handwired version, which would be about $400 more than the C1. Does anyone have experiences with both of these amps..the differences in tone, quality, ect? Also, are there any other combo amps in the $500-800 price range that do the same chimey EL84 tones that you could suggest?"
