I think all blues are made in uk

Unfortunately that is not correct. All Celestion Labeled Alnico Blues are made in the UK.

However, Since the Custom classic Series, Vox Labeled Alnico Blues are made in China. For the CC series, they used the wrong cones, and than switched to the correct cones when the HW/Custom series came out. Prior to the custom classic series, Vox branded Alnico blues were made in the UK.

Its a very confusing space if you have Vox labeled Alnico blues.

Gerry, I think you have Chinese made Alnico blues with the wrong cones, but I am not 100% sure. If you keep searching on google, you should be able to find a thread to confirm.

i'm still no better off, what do the numbers say about my speakers

If you don't have H1777 in white on the cones, than you have the wrong cones and they are made in China. The wrong cones are said to be brighter and more brittle sounding.
