Voxish Pedal

I asked in another post about the Wampler cranked AC, but I figured this might generate some more responses. I'm looking to get a nice Vox AC30 sounding pedal. I like the sound of the cranked AC, but just curious if there are any other great alternatives I am not looking at.

Do those work good in front of an amp? I thought they were made to go direct to a PA?

They brought a new set of pedals, hiwatt-style, orange-style and a recti-pedal - and with the newer ones you can engage the speakersimulation or turn it of for using it in front of an amp.
Maybe they will change the older ones soon but i don't know.

You might olso look at the vox cooltron pedals - the top boost might be a good choice for you...

Check out the Crowther hotcake.

As for the Tech21 pedals, I think they are going to update the older ones (like the Liverpool) when the current stock/pipeline of pedals runs out....

The hotcake is cool, the only thing that's better is the double hotcake

Great clean boost up to thick overdrive/distortion but gets a bit dark when you use higher gainsettings.
