This is my first BL USA pickup and I spent most of the weekend getting to know it. Pickup is set lower than any of the other pickups on my other guitars. Also running less treble and presence on the VTM than usual. Brought in the Marshall TV cab and also running the bottom speaker on the 2x12.

As much as I love my Dimarzios and Duncans it's cool to have something different.

I got a love/hate thing with the Lawrence pickups, but they do bite hard. Sounds good mang

I know where you are coming from! Thanks for the listen and comment.

Dungeon cam vids are the best! As for the Bill Lawrence pickups I yanked a pair out of a les paul a few years ago cause they just drove me nuts. The neck was ok but the bridge had anything but bite. But now your vid is making me question that  Btw you should run one of those Decibel apps next to the amp so people get an idea just how loud that shit is, cause it sounds fricken great

XL500? Bright enough to wake the dead in my experiences. Toying with throwing mine back in my Wolfgang for metal

Thanks man! Interesting that you mention the decibel app because after I lowered the BL USA I turned up the VTM a bit louder than on most of my other dungeon vids. Wanted to make sure I annihilated as much pick noise as possible, and lowering the pickup took away the feedback I was getting a few days ago. Previous owner bypassed the tone control and had the pickup almost touching the strings!

Dig that! Wow. Tight, a VTM has lots of gain on tap? That boosted/tightened up with anything, tuning sounds standard? Very good chops

It has quite a bit of gain with the dip switches engaged but I never use them. I just boost it with a Bion boost or MXR GT-OD. The Bill Lawrence USA is one heck of a raging pickup also, a beast I'm still learning to tame! Tuning is E flat.

Thanks for the comments Beandust, much appreciated!
