Slamming the VTM with the MXR GT-OD I bought from napalmdeath last year. Really liking this od!

that IS a great overdrive... position 1 or 2 on the internal slider?

Position 2, slid to the right.

You have convinced me to open my pedal and try out the other position

It's quite a hassle, isn't it? I have most of the nuts and washers off mine right now as I plan to slide the switch soon. Then I'm gonna make a final decision and button it up!

I've had mine close to 10 yrs now and didn't even know there was a slider in there. I'll go get my screwdriver...

Make it happen!

It must be true that those VTM's have some Jose modded DNA i them. that has to be the most growly Peavey I've ever heard.

Is that thing all stock? great aggressive crunchy tones man!!!!!!!!

I think I like it better than alot of the 5150 clips I've heard.

You must be pushing some air, I see the camera rocking with the low end.

What are you using to record with?

I love that pedal. I went and picked up another on Reverb shortly after selling it! Underrated.

I never messed with the switch, since I've had a Wylde OD for 10 years.

I bought a VTM 100 brand new from thoroughbred music in Miami in 1996... I think it was discontinued because I got a really good deal. I traded it later for a JMP 1 rack preamp.. big mistake.

Jezus dude... fucking amp is rocking back n forth n shit  Thats awesome! Sounds killer!

This rig has the torque of a vintage big block!
:D

It's all stock with the dip switches off and I'm using an old Zoom Q2N. Thanks for the comments, much appreciated!

I wasn't thrilled with this pedal at first. I played with it a few times and put it away until recently. It's been sitting on a shelf since last March. Right now I'm loving it, even more than my Witchburner.

I have a Q3HD. Does the Q2n have the volume option settings like the Q3HD? High Low Auto?

What volume setting was your Q2n on? The low end seems to translate better than my Q3HD, I usually use the auto setting.

I have the mic gain all the way down on the Q2HD (not sure where I got Q2N  ). I'm not aware of high/low/auto settings. If I do have them, they have never been adjusted from the default value.

:)

Might want to be on the lookout for a Peavey MC 2x12 with Celestion G12K85s. It's a great match for the VTM in my opinion.
