Volume was at around half... it just gets more saturated, and starts getting LOUD and grindy at 1/4 of the way up.

That has to be the best cleans I have heard coming from a camera and better than most posted with more advanced recording methods.stratotone":22eu32yp said:MARK1970":22eu32yp said:Wow! great tones on them clips. I really love the cleans on the first clip. I am surprised the audio sounds that good from a camera. This probably one of best I have heard. Your playing is awesome aswell. Thanks for posting.
Thanks man, the camera was super cheap too - it records on flash cards, no HD in it, so the thing is smaller than a desktop mouse. It's pretty crazy how such a small mic can capture a room sound pretty well... I was contemplating setting up a couple of mics and my Korg D3200 - but this was good enough IMHO.

Thanks! Who was the builder on the TW clone? Was it similar? I think mine is pretty accurate, but TW's and even clones are few and far between.

dang, I can't remember his name - he is a part owner of Tone Merchants - really nice bearded guy with glasses and a Suhr guitar. He told me to check out Amp Garage for tips on building a Trainwreck - but for $800 - I'd rather do that than build, cause I'm really slow!

I bought mine used... haven't even looked at what they are new from Ceriatone. Their big problem is shipping costs IMHO. I have an Express clone also that I haven't finished building.
