I don't claim responsibility for the understanding, and/or comments of others, nor the advice they may offer.

What I'm telling you is correct.

If you have any specific questions that will help you to understand more clearly, don't hesitate to ask.

Well cool. I know that what matters is sounding the way you want, but I thought I'd make sure I actually understood the words I was saying before I created confusion and looked like an idiot.

I run wet dry because I just love the raw tone of an amp, but like the sound of the wet side to thicken it up. I run the wet side way lower than the dry...well unless I feel like doing a john sykes then I crank the wet.

I have been toying with doing a stereo rig but i'm kind of a "one sound" guy so not sure if I could find a second tone that I would just EQ to sound like the other one

Well to expand a bit on what I want to hear, I think I need two sounds anyway (see this thread about my speaker dilemma). My SLO clone with delay in the loop is perfect through my Marshall V30s. But I like to switch over to my EVH GBs and dial a darker dry tone for the killer low end they get at high volumes. Once I quit buying other crap and save up, I figure I'll dig two amps doing this together. Furthermore, I kinda miss the EL34 saturation of my DSL100, so I'm currently leaning towards a 2204 clone for that second amp.

Looks like you're doing alright to me. I know some guys who have English as their 1st and only language, and they can't communicate as effectively as you do, with English not being your 1st language-- So, no worries. ;)

I looked at the things I needed to address, when designing the rig:

The Outboard gear: Pedals in front of selected amps, Rack gear (POST amp in the wet only)
The Routing gear: (Audio Controller/Interface, Amp Selector, Dual Stereo Line Mixer)
The Control of it all in real time and via presets: Audio Controller, MIDI Foot Controller, Pre-Volume pedal, Post Volume Pedal, Expression pedal, tap tempo control
The Cases to house, and protect it all: Durability, Reliability, and Quality

Best wishes on your tone journey

Born and raised in Alabama. I love the fact that my southern drawl is so bad that even when I type it looks foreign!

Sorry, I mistakenly was addressing you as another individual I was assisting on the same topic-- who doesn't have English as their 1st language. faux pas on my part.
