Me too. I mean c'mon, the buyer pays and basically at the same time requests a hold and instead of communicating with him OP just ships. Seller isn't wrong for shipping but it's just a pretty robotic thing to do. We are only humans and our lives throw curveballs.

One time I bought some acoustic treatment on Reverb and then 30 minutes later realized I had made a mistake with the purchase. I requested a cancellation and the seller said no problem and good day. He could have just as easily marked it as shipped and said sorry no returns unless arrives other than described.

Why in the hell would someone make an offer on an item, then act like they're all surprised by the purchase they made, and start asking for stupid accommodations like that ?

I don't think it could have withstood any further molestation.
