This will be used with my 5150 and Egnater MOD50.

I'm considering a Recto 2x12, Orange 2x12 (most likely this one), or a Port City 2x12. Which would you choose and why??

Thanks,

-Joe

I used to have a 5150 and it sounded really good through my G-Flex 2x12. You can find those used for a good price.

:)

Out of your choices I'd probably go with Orange personally...but...like the other poster said....Don't overlook the Genz Benz 2x12 g-flex....I love Mine

If I could choose any 2x12 it would be a Bogner.

I owned one, then i picked up an oversized Avatar 2x12, they're probably 98% identical. I wouldn't waste my money on a Bogner when those Avatar cabs are dirt cheap.

What about an oversized Avatar 2x12? great cabs and great prices.

Those side by side pics that Danhops had were the deal maker for me, I cant justify the extra cost myself.

If you can score a used Bogner I would look into it but imo new no way.

Another Avatar plug here. I own the Vintage 4X12 and its really a great cab. Can't imagine the 2X12 would be any different quality-wise.

Thanks guys,

Yeah I have the older style Avatar and it's cool. I just want something higher quality, so maybe one of their newer ones would do it.

Their "contemporary" style seems cool as well. Does anyone have one? Also, how is the bass response on their vintage style 2x12?? The vintage 30 cab I have will mainly be for metal and hard rock. I plan on getting another 2x12 with a greenback style speaker.
