No problem dudes. he talked a lot about gear so I figured some here would find it a good read.

Great interview. I was a big time Warren Demartini fan when I was kid and now I'm jonesing for that python Charvel. Thanks for posting.

WD: By Invasion of Your Privacy Robbin Crosby and I had amassed a collection of Marshal 100-Watt heads so in the smaller room we had, Studio A, there were like two or three rooms that had big glass sliding doors, but it was all part of the same studio. And we had one of those smaller rooms, just one Marshall stacked on top of the other, probably five or six high and four or five wide, just a wall of them. And we went through each one and found two of the best ones that he liked and I liked, and that was what we ended up recording Invasion of Your Privacy with.

Oh Yeah

Finally some confirmation on his gear.
The only reason I say this is like many of you (Chubtone) was greately into all these L.A. shredders.
For years lot of comments and speculation on the web Ratt using Laney's etc.
I didn't see mention of it in there. Unless I missed it.

I was not aware of his fondness of Performance guitars as well.

2 cents

Yeah, Performance actually did all the early snakeskin application on his first guitars (that were jacksons). I believe the Python in "Lay it Down" and the Southern Rattler used in most of Dancing were Jacksons with Performance necks (could be mistaken), and pretty much every other snakeskin model after that were all Performance. Performance didn't have any at NAMM this year, but last year they had two at their booth...very cool guitars!
