My white whale is missing from that pic.
Hope to have her repainted and perfect soon.
A bunch of the boogie street and funky munky guitars aren't in that pic either.
That green/black bumble-bee proto was supposed to go to Dime. It was the 3rd of the first 7 built in time for NAMM.
The rust razor back is #333(last one).
And the razor-zakk is #2 of 2.
As much as I love the Washburns, the USA Dean stuff is top notch for sure. Never had any neck joint cracks happen to any of them.
Was told the reason the Washys developed the cracks in the finish of the neck joints is because they often rushed them to paint before the wood and glue was fully cured. I let my USA dime bolt go because of the neck joint cracks in the paint.
Its kinda weird that the bigger collections I know of are never seen online now. Some of those collectors have even scrubbed their pics from the internet.
Probably had too many people trying to buy from them.
Plus nobody(including me)wants to ship them now. I know a lot of them have been destroyed in shipping.
A big hope of mine is that Rita, who has a big "Dime Guitarz" logo on her bus now, will get the factory in Indonesia (who was making the Boogie street and Funky Munky Washburn imports at the end after Dime passed) to make the new Dime guitars based on the Washburn style. The originals are selling for big bux. If she had them built to D3 specs they would sell well. But the Chinese made stuff sold on dhgate is showing up a lot recently for next to nothing. For $400 a pop you can have cheap knockoffs and get almost every style from slime/bolt/cross to even stealths. Hard to pass that up if your a kid/beginner/cheap-ass motherfucker.
