WB pickups

Hey guys, I currently have motor city 2nd degree bb's in my r8. I was thinking of getting some WB pickups to put in. Anyone reccomend a certain kind? I was thinking Firewaters.

You should do a search for WB pickups on here. I think you'll find that there are a lot of problems with people not getting their orders etc. I've never dealt with the guy so I can't say but the search function is a very useful tool

Try googling WB pickups and the words "ripped off" or "scam" and you should find your answer. I was one of them. I never got all my money back.

Im guessing its not even worth getting a set of firewaters?

Actually I wanted to get a set of Firewaters but then luckily I posted on here first like you did otherwise I probably would've gotten shafted like everyone else. Thank god for RT

well im very glad I posted. I dont no if you have every played the MCP 2nd BB's but they do sound great in my r8 but there a bit bright for my taste. I was even thinking of getting some seymour duncan alnico 2's or the slash alnico 2's but I wonder if they would be as good as a MCP?

Yeah this guy is up there with Voodooman Switches. Ive heard nothing but bad stories.

Maybe give the Detroiters a shot?? A bit hotter so maybe a bit warmer. Give Wade a shout and see what he says.

Don't buy from WB. He's a rip-off artist, and when he does follow through, he took 2 months with me calling 1-2 times a week pestering his Wife cause he was never there... Dude sucks. And his pickups weren't that good. I had a HELL and ULTRA VIOLET.

Such a bummer, because Will made quite a splash when he started. We were suppose to release a very cool and unique Tele pickup called the H63. We didn't get past the prototype stage. I am still endorsed, but it's a mess of a company.. Real bummer.

I got a Ultra Violet and a Hell model and it took a while, and I called and called. I talked to his Wife more than I talked to him. Anyway, neither pickup were that great imo.
