WCR Godwood with 5153

so I let curiosity get the better of me and ordered a WCR Godwood bridge pickup. I installed the pup in my Les Paul and hit the 5153. So far so good. I've been using a set of Duncan 59s for a while in this guitar and was interested to hear what differences the WCR would make. To be honest, they are subtle. The GW has better low end thunp and a more present high end. The mids on the 59 seem creamier to me. I'm going to leave the WCR in for a while to let my ears adjust. Both are good examples of what each builder thinks a PAF should sound like.

Maybe you had highs EQ down on the 59's. they sounded a bit flatter.

Damn, those vids both sound great. I've got a LP with a Godwood in it sounds amazing. In fact, I just bought MYLILSS' EVH 50 watt after hearing your clips.
