Does anyone have any proper, mic'ed up, studio quality recordings of the Naked amp?

I did the mistake of trying one out at TM when I was there, and now I can't get it out of my head. It's was thunder!

I know, right? Been saying this for YEARS!!!! Someone do a good demo already. And not with V30s!!!!!!!!
 
I just got a new Naked and just curious why you say not with V30's?

bw, mostly because the JMR demo was done with V30s and they didn't seem to mate well with the amp. It sounded good but it was a bit harsh and too cutting.
 
I fully retract my earlier statement. Listened to the JMR Naked demo again and it kills!!!

But seriously, why are there not more proper clips and/or demos of the Naked? Come on TM, do a demo of the new model!
 
Steve K was suppose to make clips, got Rdunk as aBlls and ruined his computer, that was the last i heard weeks ago ...

That is my overall opinion with V30's!! A bit too harsh/brash and cutting. Especially with mid voiced amps... even though Dave's mid structure is quite a bit darker than most the 'good' mods. Im guessing the Naked is a bit more open and not quite as tight and dark as the BE100... maybe it would mate well with some greenies or Scumback M's or Js?? Cheers

The new Naked is much "bigger" sounding than the first production run of Naked's. Huge bottom end and fairly thick, articulate and tracks well. I like it with the Marshall HW 412 with stock UKH30's. You could probably make V30's work for you or a mix.

There is absolutely nothing similar between the Naked and BE100. Maybe the clean channel is about the same.
 
Would love to hear Phil X or Pete Thorn give the Naked a run through!
 
This isn't a straight sample, but most of what you are hearing on this is the Naked, with a little brown eye blend.

Can't wait. I'm eagerly awaiting a BE to come in at Make N so I can try one out. I think the Naked might fit me better though. Wish I could try them both.

I'm bummed I missed a Naked on eBay for like $2350 shipped. Didn't have the $. :(

I think it sounds best with the LP in that vid. Makes me want to try one even more. Still, wish there was a dealer by me who had them in stock.
