I saw them a couple years back with BTBAM and he put on a killer show. He is very good live probably one of the best.

Nominated for Musical Thread of the Year.......I've been on a DT rampage since yesterday when I first caught this.....never listened to this guy before now because for some reason I thought he was a shredder and I wasn't interested.

This guy is nothing short of incredible......I've probably listened to 'Away' over 100 times by now, just getting into all the different nuances he does with that one riff.....it makes me wanna drop my guitars down to open C, and sit in a room with something green and solo over it for 10 hours......I haven't felt that way about new music for a long time. :rock:

EDIT: do we even have a MTotY? If we don't we should, dammit.
 
Does anyone know what tuning he uses? I got the idea somewhere that he tunes (low) C-F-C-F-C-F (high). Wondering if anyone can confirm?

Ya, this thread does rock... Awesome post for sure. But does anyone else suffer from the same reaction - every time I browse over the RT forum and see this thread I immediately think upon first glance it's one of those weird malware/bot entries offering designer handbags or gucci knockoff shoes.

Maybe it's just me. But I always eek-out when I first read the 'Wearing khaki cargo....' and the tail end in my periphery '2010's best show...'.

Nobody can command a live show like Devin. He can pretty much do it all on his own. I love him in this vid because he just captures you and forces you to take the ride with him.
