I just bought a Weber Bias Rite BR-2 (octal set) and i also got a quad of new 6L6GC power tubes for my powerball.
I'm wondering how exactly do i go about biasing a quad of power tubes with just two of the weber socket adapters? Should i just install the quad of power tubes then do two at a time? If so, would i measure the inner pair and then the outer pair?
Following the instructions for biasing on the weber website (https://taweber.powweb.com/biasrite/br_page.htm) will be easy and i know where the bias adjusting socket on the powerball is, so any help with setting up the Bias Rite would be greatly appreciated
side question: what do you guys use for cleaning the tube sockets...some sort of contact cleaner? I know radioshack sells some, but is that stuff decent enough?
thanks!
