So I've been trying to figure out the most elegant way to use 2 heads with one 16ohm 4x12 cab for dry tone
(as opposed to 2 separate dry cabs)

one head is 16 ohm and I have a 16 ohm hotplate for it

the other head is 4 ohm ... I have no hotplate or anything for it yet

I'm thinking i could get the weber Z matcher https://taweber.powweb.com/store/zmatch.htm

then I can switch the 4 ohm to 16 ohm and whala, I have both heads using one 16ohm hotplate

but I still would need the radial headbone to switch between amp heads ..and theoretically using the same hotplate for both

I'm just worried about the headbone having that split second pause between switching...anyone have any input on that?

the other option is one of those fancy suhr or other boxes that do everything in 1, dual amp etc.. but I can't afford that

Weber does have a stereo mass attenuator...
that might be an option..it would help to avoid the headbone...
but I would still need the z matcher for the one head
also, this weber stereo mass might not have a line out...
weber seems cheap, but not sure about the tone
