Weezer Maladroit tone

Not a huge fan of this album, but the TONE. Damn, it's good. The song Fall Together especially has some of the thickest chewiest and clearest rock tone I've heard.

I've read that they used everything from Friedman Marshalls to modded Marks to VH4 for this tone. And this info is unfortunately missing from the gear archive page on their site. Anyone know what amp(s) I'm hearing here?

BTW, not tone chasing, just love this sound and want to know what it is. :thumbsup:

Edit: Yeah, found mention of a 900 after the Blue Album was recorded, but that was years before this album...Looks like they've used a shit load of amps over the years. Probably an example of a band that gets good tones no matter what they use. Good micing/recording technique I guess.
 
When that album came out I remember hearing that Rivers used a DSL50.
