Weird issue with relay and FET boost

Hey everyone! I'm having a relay problem with a FET boost and my Double DS build from Headfirst/Evolve. I'm powering the FET boost with a separate 12V supply. When I have the amp on channel 2, the relay to activate the FET boost works fine. The voltage on the boost board measures 12V and 1.5V when it's off and on. But when I switch the amp to channel 1, the FET boost relay won't engage. The voltage measures 6.5V and 2V when I try to engage and disengage it. The voltage into the boost board is 12V at all times. I also have the channel switching and a cathode boost being controlled by relays, and those work fine. Would anyone have any thoughts how to troubleshoot this? I'm not sure why the FET boost relay only gets 6.5V when the amp is on channel 1.

I'm also not sure if it's OK to share the documentation for the amp and boost.

I have access to the Headfirst files .... I've built a couple of Cali's using Jason's PCBs .... I can take a look if / when I have some time ...

I'm assuming you used the Headfirst FET Boost board ? If so isn't that a high voltage FET Boost that runs up to around 300 volts ?
