so i have an ax 8 which i use straight FOH some times, but i also bought it to use for effects with tube amp heads. when i use the ax8 4cm with power amp and cab simulation disabled (also removed from the preset) it works great. Now i wanted to utilize my two notes live so i could also at times use this setup live.
the two notes ax8 combo gives me the weirdest phasing and howling thru the PA using delay post effects loop on the ax8. I have tried every combo in the ax8 of levels, sum/copy/stereo/+4/-10 and nothing resolves it. going to -10 drops the phasing but i can't get the levels to unity. levels are al good on the two notes and the meters on the ax8 (no clipping)
this doesn't happen with other effects or say using an H9. going direct into a x32 board and i have tried phase reverse on that with no changes.
anyone ever had this issue? any ideas? is there that much latency to the live?
