i wish i had a camera for shit like this, but i don't

it's bad to the bone,

i posted a little question about buying one on this forum and 7string.org, no one seemed to think it a good idea

all well, i dig it

all it does is take my lows and put them in the isp, and highs mids stay in my little 2x12,

alls i gots to says is rock!, i'll try to get pics up soon, i suck with no camera i know, but i'm a fucking musician, sort of?!

thanks

I've wanted to get one of these for a long time! Did you get it used?

I've had the 300 watt version for a couple of years now and it's awesome. I used to play live with the 600 watt model and everyone in my band and sound guys loved it. They kill......alot of people don't understand what the crossover separation does and usually think it's some fancy bass booster. Mine coupled with an Axefx, power amp and 2 cabs is a wall of amazing goodness....

i most certainly did, it's awesome,

for the guy above me, yes there does seem to be a large misconception of what it does exactly, it aint' not no bass blaster booster thing, that would sound terrible,

it just takes your bass and puts it in a place where it can be handled properly!, that's all,

and since i play 8 string (peace be upon thy) it makes more sense

thanks

Indeed is great for down tuners especially...........I was using it with baritones in A, Bb tuning..........but even now at home in C or D tuning it just sounds clearer, more full, and of course bigger. With amps like Rectos for example it is real effective in taking away some that fuzz and giving the overall sound much clearer headroom. It's not just for down tuners though. I mean Steve Lukather is no down tuner and he was responsible for it's inception starting at Rivera and moving it over to ISP.

interesting, i had no idea about the history of it all,

yeah i mean i've been searching for "a" cabinet that would handle my lows (tune to Eb sometimes on the low 8th string)

which flubs all cabs i don't care what they are, i haven't tried a mills, but i seriously doubt it pumps like this motherfucker does, (funny my computer is telling me motherfucker in any variation is misspelled) cool??

anyway thanks i'm glad i'm not the only crazy with this bad boy!

yay isp

how do you plug that thing up to your amp heads? line out? or do you plug it in just like you would a passive cab? theres one at my local sam ash for an absolute fucking steal ive been eyeballin for a little while

yepper you just plug into the vector sl like a passive cab, then send from the vector sl to another cab, or your other cab, it's nifty,

umm i'd buy it, how much is it, i'll buy it now!

thanks

Can't fuckin beleive I missed this. I am glad some of you guys are seeing the light on these things. Fuck, even the guy from The Black crows is using one now. Not just for metal guys as stated earlier. Adds such depth to your sound, a 3D type sound, fills the room. The SL is adjustable so you can dial it back if becomes too much. It makes a 2X12 sound like 2 full stacks, only better. 12" speakers were never meant to be dealt the bass that modern heads produce. The subs actually allow for the use of your heads bass response. I find that I can really crank the mids for an overall crushing tone that cuts thru like no other. If you guys have not tried it yet, You can run both outputs from your head to cab and sub thus bypassing the crossover. Sounds great on some heads and not so much on others. ISP crushes :codeak:
