FOUR LETTER WORD FOUR LETTER WORD I keep telling myself but these guys are pretty cool, the drummer from my jam band is the one asking me to join.

Mostly 70s rock stuff from James Gang, Skynyrd, BadCo, Deep Purple, etc.

I do have my trusty Ibby SR305 and the practice place has a bass amp so I have time to get something.

Audition is Tuesday.

Funny you posted this. Good bands are so hard to come by around here I was actually thinking of switching to bass just to land a gig in a decent band. Tell us how it works out.

Yup, played bass during the 80s. Used to use a drum stick to play the bass solo in Gabrial's Big Time where Tony Levin used his bass fingers. Talk about relic jobs after years of doing that song

Use the clean channel of the Natas. Its one of the few guitar amps out there that can probably cope well with a bass hitting it. It does well with 8 string guitar, how much different can a bass be

I love playing bass. Play at church once in a while and take mine to practice sometimes if the bass player can't make it, but.............not sure I'd be interested in playing full time. That'd mean I'd have to listen to some guitar player hack it up. I think it'd drive me crazy.
