A good friend custom built a JCM'ish amp, brought it over with his well worn 1981 Les Paul Standard and let me spend the week with it. Tonight I was able to track a quick riff with it and am really impressed with the tone I got. Earlier in the week I tracked the same riff through his Mesa Stiletto II, which can be heard on the same SC page. Wow! A huge difference. Both were tracked through Two Notes' Torpedo Live.
