Wet/Dry/Wet power amp and speaker recommendation with my XTC

Hi

I have a 101b with a 4x12 Bogner V30. I want to build a Wet/Dry/Wet rig using the line out feature of my Ecstasy. I will add a Strymon Timeline and a TC Hall of fame on the Wet channels, I plan to use a RJM Mini Line Mixer and use the killdry function on both effects. Just effect on the Wet future cabs...

About the cab, I don't want to have 2 other 4x12. Any suggestion ? maybe 2 Bogner Cube 1x12. Is anybody have experience with Wet cab configuration

Any suggestion for the power amp ? Because I'm using the Line Out of my Bogner, signal coming after the power section, is it ok to use a Solid State Power Amp like a Carvin ? I also look at Matrix Amplification which is double the price.

Any Experience with Wet/Dry/Wet configuration is welcome

I use a 2x12 (dry) and two 1x12's. I run a Mark III 1x12 combo with a 1x12 cab as my wets. Mine is all tube so I can't speak for a solid state power amp. But I would think one build for guitars should do the job fine.

2 Bogner cubes

I run a W/D/W rig and use 1 4x12 and 2 Bogner cubes. It sounds great. I would not hesitate for a second buying the Bogner cubes. As far as a power amp I use a HH V800 which is KILLER. The V800 is very transparent sounds great in a W/D/W rig.

I use the matrix power amps. I had a cab company build me a copy of the bogner 1-12..they sound great...

Cabinet has two 3inch ports
Ports are 3-1/2 inch long

Or the legendary VHT power amps have been used by many great players. I used to have one & they sound huge

I use a Carvin DCM 150. I think at one point Bob Bradshaw was even putting these in some his racks and they are a good amp for the money. That being said I would love to try a Matrix or VHT as I'm sure they sound killer. I also like that the DCM 150 is only a single rack space but I know some of Matrix's are like this as well.

My concern about a tube Power Amp is because I plan to use the Line Out of my XTC. This output already have the tube power amp of the Ecstasy coloration...

Go with the HH V800.

That being said I would love to try a Matrix or VHT as I'm sure they sound killer. I also like that the DCM 150 is only a single rack space but I know some of Matrix's are like this as well.

I have one I'd willing to part with if someone is interested (PM me). I used it for my wet/dry/wet rig when I had one. Definitely a reason why Bradshaw used them.

Matrix is also a good choice.

If you don't mind 50 watts a side, the Mesa/Boogie 50:50 valve power amp works great.
