What are some of the best wireless systems out today?

A couple hundred bucks? Maybe 300 or so? I Googled the best wireless units of 2021 and they all came back as units that their rankings were probably paid for. A Line 6 G10, other units that looked similar, those little self contained things that look like they'd break within a few months or randomly stop working one day. Only 1 of the cool, old fashioned looking Shure units, the BLX14 or something I think it was. Guitar Center shows that unit plus the rack ears was $379 I think. I'd rather find a good used one if I could to save some bucks.

I bought a Shure GLXD a few months back and LOVE it. It's expensive but worth every penny. There is a rackmount version too.

I won one of the cheaper Carvin units in a RT giveaway and it's actually extremely high quality for the price point.

It's a bit noisy with passives but incredibly easy to use, and surprisingly good sound.

I have experience with the Shure GLX as well and it's a great unit, and worth the money.

Yeah the glxd changed my life. Litterally the third best gear selection. Get you a badass guitar, then a badass amp, then a glxd....ONly then worry about your other pedals and shit

I cried about my live tone for a decade. I bought preamps, and power amps and guitars and cried that my live tone wasn't what I had at home, in rehearsal, or in recordings.

Fucking companding in my analog wireless was absolutely the culprit.

When I bought my Line6 g90 everything I cried about was solved. I think there is something to be said about buying a wireless from a guitar-oriented company vs a company like Shure or Senn or whoever. Loading your pickups is a thing.
