$590 million to advance the development of its bird flu vaccine, as the country doubles down on efforts to tackle increasing infections in humans.
This is in addition to $176 million awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) last year to complete the late-stage development and testing of a pre-pandemic mRNA-based vaccine against the H5N1 avian influenza.

In January 2025, the Biden administration allocated $306 million to bird flu research and preparedness. The funding was intended to improve hospital preparedness, diagnostics, and vaccines.



Funding breakdown
  • $183 million: For regional, state, and local pandemic preparedness, including treatment

  • $103 million: For monitoring people exposed to the virus, including outreach to livestock workers


  • $11 million: For research on potential medical countermeasures for H5N1 at the National Institutes of Health
‘Critical’ funding comes as H5N1 outbreak intensifies and will go toward developing a response to the virus



 
Just remember who got preemptive pardon going back to 2014 for not doing anything criminal and that Dr. Ralph Baric invented the NO SEE UM technique....

Just remember Anthony Fauci and alot of NIH/CDC members who receive royalties from vaccine development got preemptive pardons for any and all possible crimes committed backdated to 2014... and they accepted the pardons. That tells you everything you need to know about the legality of Gain Of Function Research. Even Obama had to put a stop to it in 2014 within the United States borders.

Then Fauci moved the research over to Wuhan China to do an end run around The Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 and the acclaimed international human rights attorney and law professor Dr. Francis Boyle who wrote the law would tell you that Mr. Fauci has committed crimes against humanity and he has in multiple interviews since 2020.

Because Dr. Ralph Baric built this virus according to many published peer reviewed research papers cited by Dr. Francis Boyle.........These guys are so proud of their work in 2015 they made a YT channel for the world to see even though their research is illegal by law......I guess some people are above the law....follow the money as usual.
