What brand of locking tuners for a SG?

Gotoh, planet waves, hipshot, ect. What are the best locking tuners? I recently picked up a SG and want to put locking tuners in it. Which ones do I get?

Gotoh. Nothing wrong with Grovers either.

I've used both on Gibsons. Can't speak for the others, but hear great things about the Hipshots.

I like the Hipshots that come with that mounting plate. They work really well and you don't need to drill anything into the guitar. I have them in my SG.

Yea, that’s a pretty slick idea. I used it on my LP Special

Gotoh also makes some nice vintage/looking locking tuners that I like a lot.

I found these a while ago, been interested in picking up a set, but just haven't yet. Direct drop-ins if your guitar came stock with the Kluson keystone style machines.

I like the Hipshots too. Work great and feel great too. Would love to replace all my junk Sperzels with them.

another vote for hipshots. Have the open back version on my Jr and love them.

It's also nice that they don't require any screws to mount. can go back to stock without any effort or damage.

I put these on my son's SG. They come with a set of plates to attach to different hole patterns so there is no drilling.they are a bit expensive but they are great tuners.
