Im planning on making new cables soon. Last time i used mogami 2524. Ive also used gepco xb20. Anybody find something they like better?

Thx

I also use the Mogami. Why change if it's working?

Nope. I use the same material you do. One stop shop at Redco's online store. In fact, I think it's just about the only aspect of my gear I wouldn't be willing to change up even for shits. I'll swap guitars, pedals, ect. The only constant is that they're all plugging into Mogami cables.

I roll my own using Mogami 2524 as well. I've been extremely happy with the Mogami cable but I've read good things about the Belden 9778. I think I'm going to make a couple out of that and compare the 2 at some point.

not necessarily looking to change from the mogami as was more curious to know if a newer higher quality cable had hit the market since the last time i whipped up some cables. Looks like 2524 it is. Thanks guys. Take care.

Which ends are you guys using with the Mogami cable?

I have been using an equivalent to the Mogami 2524 sourced from Best-Tronics Mfg. PN is CA-0393. It's about 1/2 the price of Mogami per foot and made in the USA.

I have wired several pedal boards and all of my instrument cables are made from this.

Mogami and Canare GS6. I love the GS6 because it's flexible. Cool colors too.

Mogami 2319 for my patch cables and 2524 for my guitar cables. I use switchcraft connecters.
