On my VH4S, I burned up the Hum Potentiometer way back in September by not selecting "6L6" on the EL34/6L6 switch when changing tubes from EL34 to 6L6. I replaced the Hum Potentiometer with the part recommended by Peter. The VH4S has been working perfectly and sounding great since that time.
I might be selling the VH4S soon in order to take care of other expenses. If I sell the amp, I want it to be in good condition for the next owner.
The Standby switch was turned to "RUN" for about one second before I noticed smoke and switched it off. Is it possible that anything else on the other side of the PCB board was damaged when I forgot to make the correct selection on the EL34/6L6 switch? Should anything be checked out before I sell the amp?
Thanks.
