i have an epiphone les paul standard and i just bought a Marshall JVM 410h head with a 1960A cabinet (which i LOVE) and i'm really into the tones of the Edge, Eric Johnson, and John Mayer...i know, i really should be checking out strats! but i can't spend that kinda money right now. so i want to find a delay pedal for a good price that can help me simulate their sounds as much as possible without having a strat haha. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

digitech hardwire is seriously very warm and organic, and had a bunch of options, i like the delay w/ mod on it.

I have a DD-20, which is overkill for me, but is really a nice delay. Another solid pick might be a Memory Man, theres a vid with Andy Timmons running two for some killer delay.

I can't recommend the TC Nova Delay highly enough. Great pedal and excellent sounding delays.

The DD3,5,6,7 etcs from boss are very decent as well. Im curently using my BYOC digital delay. It doesnt have the options like the boss and digitech delays, but it does IMO sound fuller and warmer. But not by much.

I'm really digging my Eventide Timefactor. If you want Edge sounds, you absolutely must run two delays; Timefactor will do this (and even comes with some fantastic U2 presets).

the time factor is the most versatile and cost effective delay out there. For just one delay sound, the Providence delay 83 is beautiful sounding

I'm actually very interested in this pedal.

How is the tc nova repeater, i like it has more delay options than the nova delay?... esp tape delay? is it like the TC D2?

where do you find those? heard some youtube clips that sound amazing.

Cough......you were right....cough cough...........

My DL-4 is going on the blocks.

It's a cool pedal. In the Fortin's loop i turn up the send and return levels to get the delay louder. It brings the volume of the amp up but if anything, it's just pushing the power amps tubes harder and it doesn't seem to change the tone.

I take it that the Damage Control Timeline was liked at the amp fest today??
