I'm a staunch amps are better and IR's aren't as good as a real mic on cab but these sims and what they are doing now are getting so so good that for convenience, kind of hard to ignore it. What is more is that if I have to spend 2K on a Kemper, of course I am going to try and own the amp. But 100$ here or there for an excellent SIM that sounds really close is totally reasonable. I would say the only diff now is they sound a bit more up close than a mic on the grill will but they aren't like the sims I remember playing through (fizzy and bass heavy). Not that it is a good representation of the amp here, but just how close they are when he A/B's them. Add the fact that there are tube differences as he says and other small nuances. The real am is a little more controlled in the highs but you might be adding highs anyway when you mix so really... it is a wash. Pete Thorn also did a really good video of this one but I didn't link it here because everything he uses sounds good.

I own a lot of their stuff and think it’s fantastic; it’s one of my go to’s when just noodling around in front of my computer or reamping anything.

Added to which the TriAxis sim, ReAxis, will take TriAxis presets, that was a big win for me.

They are top two for me, other one being the Neural DSP stuff, the Nameless and Cali in particular.
