What do you use for polishing and buffing guitars/bodies?

i am not concerned about nitro, this is specifically for poly finished guitars body only.

what do you use? this isn't something i normally do, this is just to polish up for when i list something for sale. keep smudges off for a bit.

do you use any automotive products? or more like a dunlop 65 stuff (has never treated me well tbh).

Naphtha to clean the guitar of any grime, oils, etc..., then carnauba wax to polish.

That's for gloss finishes. Probably don't do this on a matte or flake finish.

I used the finish restorer, and I always get a film a few weeks latet. That's what I want to avoid.

Lol, yeah i forgot that i get these from my shop so i don't really pay for it. We use this stuff to buff boats.
