I was off the boards for a while and just remembered that guy.. Monster player and super cool dude.
I don't see him on here anymore.. Is he ok?

Last I remember he worked for Axe-fx I believe.

Yep

He's been laying it down for Fractal. Have not seen him on here in a while.

He's been around...not on here as much..mostly youtube. Still cool guy...always will be.

I see him a few times a week on Facebook. Pretty much all the people that were on Rig Talk years ago are on Facebook.

Mark is such a sweetheart. He was literally THE guy that got me to start looking into high end gear.

Wait, what? You have friends? When did this happen? LOL How you doing, Rob?

Awesome dude! Helped me out years ago when I was asking about FRFR cab solutions, questions about Fractal gear, guitars, etc. I miss his goofy videos where he would make faces when he hit certain notes, etc. Like a comedian with a guitar. :)

When I first joined Rig talk. He was one of the very first guys videos I watched. His Egnater class build.
Blew me away. Been hooked on this web site since.

It was this one.

I've told him this, but his tone from his CAA rig back in the day with the Suhr guitar with Blackouts just sounded killer...was my favorite tone of his.

Funny thing is I bought that amp from him because I loved his tone, I thought it was a so so sounding amp and sold it pretty quickly. Goes to show you its more in the hands, great guy and player

Was chatting with him on Facebook last week. Excellent guy.

Great to still see him playing and enjoying things. Very, very difficult disease he has to deal with.

That is one of the best modded Marshall type tones I’ve ever heard. It made me buy one of those immediately. Well, mine did NOT sound like that. All of his amps/vids had that Godly grind to it. I think he had an EMG SBC boost in his guitar. I believe that was the common factor. Definitely had some secret sauce going, cause that amp sounds boosted as fuck...Great guy and player. Glad he’s still out there and playing. I hope he winning his battle with Parkinson’s.

It was more than the hands. :D

It seems like all of the videos I saw of him he made it look like it was so easy. Amazing ability to really get the feel of the solo.
Definitely the definition of "walk softly and carry a big stick"!
