Since we have the GAS thread going, the "gear you miss" thread, I thought we could talk about gear that we have, love, and will never let go.

I'll go first.

Mesa dual recto blackface #11X.
Diezel Herbert
VHT UL H/S- only because it has red oxblood grille cloth instead of black

Jackson KE1 Marty Friedman sig
Gibson Gothic explorer
LTD Grynch Hetfield sig

Everything else is for sale for the right price.

Ibanez rg2020xtb with herc fede vine inlay....rarely even leaves my closet..

my copper camo Gutierrez Juggernaut
my 2 " Dimebag" guitars

other than that everything is replaceable.

Yeah, as much as I 'love' some of my guitars, for the right price they're all gone. My first GMW strathead would be very tough to let go of though..

Nothing. I'm hoping my Ken Lawrence Explorer when it gets here though!

Well, that's easy....my Suhr Moderns of course!

My #1 Stratocaster that my wife bought me for Christmas about 12 years ago.
To the grave.

My goldtop Short LP.

Everything else can be bought any other time, but that's one of a kind. Can't let it go.

Everything has its price.

For me, it looks like it will be a Crate GX-10 practice amp since no one wants them, and it's not even worth enough to try to sell it.

I'm with the "Everything has a price" group.

I had a '04 Rickenbacker 381v69/12 in the color of the year Montezuma Brown, which I ordered/bought when my twins were born. It was rare (1 of 3), stunningly beautiful and emotionally connected to my boys; I never thought I'd let it go. But, when the right price came up, I "appreciated" that I never played it very much and I didn't need expensive wall art.

BCR Mockingbirds, all five of them
Scarlet Red PRS Custom 24
Diezel VH4S
PRS Blistertone
Marshall JMP 212 combo

Martin

My blackcherry burst Peavey Wolfgang. Cant see myself ever selling it...

Gibson LP XPL (x2)
Electra Futura (first guitar)
1987 Carvin Ultra V

Mesa Boogie Mark III
Makoplex (I think)

The LP Studio my parents bought for me forever ago. The sentimental value far outweighs the low price it would sell for.

amps:
herbert
uberschall
uberkab.... these i cannot be without. they have been my favorite amps for many years.

i own a bunch of guitars but these are whats going in my vault. some of these was dream guitars for me, some have sentimental value and theres some that i couldnt imagine not owning because they sound and feel awesome and i feel a bond with them.
