What guitar pedals are you using on your bass?

Honestly the most important behs gear for me has always been the pickups and amp if I'm being honest

If there's a pedalboard that models an original svt or a redhead that would certainly be cool, but if it was me I would dump a whole lot more money in the amp and bass then the pedals for a bass rig

Part of that is simply that your core tone is a million times more important for a bass rig

How many fucking songs are you running autowah or delay with a bass? Once per set? Our bass player in my original band uses a big muff that's always on at a relatively low setting and a tuner and that's all. Ever.

If I had all the money in the world for JUST a bass rig, I'd probably have a compressor, a sansamp, a (bass specific) chorus, baseballs, and especially a clean blend of some type - but then again I'd trade every single pedal and ten more for a workingman 2x10 or an Aguilar db751 or an svt or something legit to get that core tone down, because thats simply so much more important if you actually want to do bass right instead of being the "guitar player stuck playing the bass" guy 😂

Major props for the Working man Series those original Workingman 15's were amazing.

Absolutely immortal amps, especially as backline

Still to this day, I use a plug in emulation of it for every single bass recording because it's just "what bass sounds like" to my ear

Especially with that signature "clank" on top with some grit - that SWR tone is literally the sound of every punk and metal band in a 500 mile radius from me for my entire adult life

I posted it about it earlier, a bass player in my band had a sm900 and 2 4x10 goliaths, a custom Tobias Renegade and a Growler V...it was just a dominating sound. That rig locked in with a drummers kick was pure ruthless thunder.

Those Goliath cabs were the shit.

See everyone always does the "what guitar shit would you buy if money was no object" but for me I'd buy a bass rig just so the fucking bass player didn't have an excuse to not have a rig in every band I play in.

"I don't have an amp I'll just plug into the mixer -"

"Fuck off I have a 975w Aguilar rack, 2 Goliath 4x10s, and a music man bongo - now go take pride in your tone for once "

You lucked out having a bassist who actually cares 😂

In my experience bassists are even more anal about tone than guitards. I mean guitarists.

Not even remotely

Apparently I need to start bands where you live because there are literally 2 bassists who even have an amp out of like 50 bands in my local scene

Only the ones who rock the bassist hat

I was cool till you decided to hate me for my love of JAMES TYLER GUITARS, boots pedals, and plush rugs.

You were never cool, VonGiacomo the fake guitarist. There is no way your loser predatory ass believes that I was ever cool with you. Some of the most idiotic things I've ever read on the internet have come from you, but that might be the dumbest. You're an online predator and you always have been. You go out of your way to attempt to get under people's skin and harass them. You say the most dumbfuck sexist trash that hasn't been heard since the first atomic detonation. You're a piece of shit and you're a liar about everything. You're a fake Christian and you've proved it time and time again. You're a fake musician which most of us have always suspected, but you proved it today.

None. I use bass pedals for bass.

I use a Trace Elliot Transit B, sometimes a Trace Elliot dual compressor, and sometimes a Source Audio Soundblox Pro Bass Envelope Filter.
