RT is cool, but it's slow. This is the most excitement since the anticipation (and subsequent let-down) of NAMM.

I think some of you guys are forgetting that evidently Dave asked to be banned.

Thats a good point. Another one is that someone mentioned that this is a public forum and it really isnt. Brad can do whatever he wants and none of us has any chance but to like it or move on. That certainly doesnt make Dave any less likeable or respectable. Whatever his reasons, Im sure they were valid and I respect him for it.

I asked Brad to ban me a couple of years ago. He never did, and i'm glad he didn't. I enjoy the forum and respect Brad's pursuit of his business interests. Whether he turns a profit or is just having fun, the guy is living his dream.

It's too bad that we all can't get along on the gear interweb. I enjoy talking about gear and don't get to do that much in my "normal" life.

Nick had it right....Brad and Dave disagree...it's Brad's forum...Dave decides to leave instead of keepping his opinion to himself. It is what it is...I wish Dave had stayed, but understand he had his reasons.

I haven't read these pages yet, I will later. Dave asked to cancel his membership and to have his posts removed. He wasn't banned, his choice and I don't argue when someone asks to be gone. Turning off the computer now and heading to Steel Panther. Not doing the drama. He's not banned he is deactivated and can be reactivated if he requests it. His choice.

So, to keep the fun going, Dave actually told me that he thinks Camerons have a bit of a Mesa vibe going on. Ya know, that "glued-together" smooth gain structure that the Marks have. He said they are like a Boogie, but better in that they don't fart out at any volume and have more punch and more aggressive character. I love my Boogie, so I'll have to reserve my opinion until I actually play a Cam.

Tough to sift through the speculation and come up with a conclusion to why Dave left but whatever the reason, he will be missed. I've been watching his demos longer than I've been on RT. I want to know the full story to what actually happened so if anyone out there is in the know and wants to PM me .
