What Happened To Rig-Talk?

It appears that Rig-Talk has become Harmony Central - on crack! I joined RT about 10 years ago, but was tossed when I mentioned the name of a builder who ripped-off my best friend. I have to say, I'm shocked at what I'm reading here. There were always spirited exchanges, but never anything close to what I've been reading over the last month or so. Politics can be discussed without attacking those who disagree with you. These ad hominem attacks need to stop. It's as though a few members are trying their best to get this sub-forum shutdown. That, or they lack any sense of respect for fellow member opinions.

I remember Charveldan from the Marshall forum. If I had to make a guess, I'd say WGAF is Charveldan. His perisistant ad hominem attacks, raffish indelicacy, profanity, and his persistent use of bold fonts for any given idea are identical to the Charveldan that I remember. I could be wrong, but I dont think so. WGAF's behavior here is classic Charveldan riffage.

How can you know what OT was previously about when you only JUST signed up yesterday??? I smell a dirty lying TROLL and so does everyone else. Do you think we're THAT dumb.

We stay out of the gear & tech areas so if YOU don't like it don't come into OT OR you could create threads in OT that steer it where YOU want. Otherwise STFU as you're adding nothing to the entire site whining but prepared to do nothing, like so many.

I think the mods have pretty much figured out this subforum is the septic tank of the entire forum. If you go into it, you're gonna get shit on you. So they're leaving up to the individuals to make adult decisions. Enter if you want. If you get offended easily just dont.

Again, we DON'T pollute any other area of the site so we're here on our own being openly expressive with no shackles on which is what freedom is about.

I personally would like a disclaimer added before entering OT where it says you agree not to complain if you enter, the responsibility is then entirely on the person accepting the warning. If they don't accept they're denied entrance. Fixes EVERTHING easily.

Personal responsibility is kryptonite to the masses these days........isn't it.
