Ah yes......Heading back to Chicago last I heard.

I had one of the original XXX a few years back. Liked it quite a bit. What you think of the II?
Also had one of them KK BC rich's....

I love it, was thinking either it or a jvm 210 maybe a 6505 but I figured I'd be different. Lol Definently very versatile my wife plugged a crappy acoustic electric into it on the clean channel the other day and it still put out a nice tone after a little knob twisting. My only complaint was the noise "gate" it definently reduces hiss but I still need a real one to kill the feedback at higher volumes. I'll post a video eventually, when I get around to it.

If your looking for a EQ....get one of them Boss GE-7 Graphic EQ pedals and slap it in the loop.
Really enhances the amp and lets you do that minor tweaking. A must have.

How does that compare to the mxr 108? Or is the price difference even worth it?

I never tried one of the MXr's....used a BBE 482i Sonic Maximizer for years....when I switched to the Boss EQ....it was night and day.
Never looked back or tried any others.

I had the 382 I believe....got it for 10 bucks.....then sold it for 10 bucks....it was nice but just to for me.

After a good night sleep He was back in business.....
"Those arent PILLOWS!!"

GEQ in the loop is great. I tried a Para EQ in the loop. Dig it. Almost sounds like a different amp.

I used mine in the send to get a mid boost and volume bump on my wet amp.
