now, the classic memes are still useful; if not overused.
as to here, I think we have a number of people that keep pushing to see how far they can go with extremes; the venting gets shrill quick. IMO; it's like being in grade school recess when you have nothing else to do.

It started before children but carried in to that timeframe a bit. It was sort of a bold online experiment. So much shit talk stems from the idea of being semi or fully anonymous. I completely took away the anonymity and for the most part people were cool with me. And the ones that weren’t didn’t really mouth off to me because that’s not what people do in real life away from the internet.
It also got me a metric shit ton of likes

yes, anonymity can bring out the worst in people; but I think that's a symptom of our current reality.
The rift between the extremes is growing and accelerating; there's no compromise or discourse; it can only lead to conflict eventually.
One of the reasons I'm convinced the USA is in decline; then add education, healthcare, economics, GDP, crime, deficits, etc., most areas are not improving for Americans except for our ruling parasites and their oligarchs.

I think americas biggest problem is that the government uses our tax money to keep companies running that in turn, take more of our money to turn a profit. They make sure the rich get richer and use the fear of “socialism” as an excuse to why the tax money can’t be more directly used to help middle and lower class people

agreed. Outside of the pandemic that enriched big pharma, it's the military-industrial complex getting most of our tax dollars, and sending it to foreign countries, not just Ukraine, the list is long, and it adds up to billions that can be used here for universal healthcare, infrastructure, homeless, education, food, social security, etc.
our ruling parasites putting Americans and America last, combined with malfeasance and corruption at the state and local levels is why many of our cities continue to deteriorate and get worse over time.

we already have socialism; just most of that money goes to corporations, oligarchs and our ruling parasites. - corporate welfare and pandering - that's actually closer to fascism not socialism.
it's our tax money in the first place - from Americans; that should be going to help the American people - and it's not.
yes, social programs that help the American people, whether you call it socialism or not, is a good thing. IMO
