Actually those are still the old cab. The frontloaded is the same size as rearloaded now. So now both are a little oversized. I talked to Peter Stapfer about that at the Musikmesse this year.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh I got it !!!
We had a front- and a rearloaded 212 cab.
The rearloaded was bigger, so You assume
it was a oversized frontloaded.
Jay is right, both cabs have same size now.

Why the change? Was the smaller FL not well received?

As far as I remember Peter said he liked the angled baffle on the rearloaded 2x12 and tried that with frontloaded. It worked out great and the cab sounded great so he decided to build both rear- and frontloaded the same way.
