Looking for options but not really up on what's out there other than Malekko 616 and MXR CC for good solid Analog Delay pedals.

Let's hear what you got? Size does matter, the more compact the better for me

GO!

It depends if you factor in value or not

Best for the money or flat out best?

I'll put a top $ amount at $150. That seems to be the top end of most mass produced pedals that I know of until you get into boutique stuff. So, the best within the $150 range. I am sure I could spend $300-400 on a top dollar analog pedal, but that's not what I personally need.

The new WAZA Boss is supposed to be really good, I have an old DOD 640 I like a lot, but it's really big. The Maxon one is supposed to be really good too...

MXR Carbon Copy is probably the best bang for your buck
And easy to find used too

I've had a CC and 616 in the past... Both were great, I just didn't know if there were better ones out there for the money. I am not up on all the pedal companies out there.

I stumbled across the Mooer Echolizer and Ana Echo this morning as well as the Rowin LEF-614 this morning which are extremely small footprint pedals, but I am very unsure of their quality as I have never heard of the brands before. I am not a big effect guy typically.

My favorite was the original ibanez AD9. It adds such a natural warmness to your tone. Mine was stolen years ago. I bought a reissue and they're not the same...

I'm not familiar with Rowin, but know they're a Chinese company
Mooer stuff is also on the cheaper side, even though some of their stuff gets good reviews (not sure of the build quality though)

Forgot about the Boss DM-2 reissue (Waza)
I'd gladly give it a try if I didn't own an original DM-2

I'll have to take a look at the Maxon and Ibanez... Never really considered either.

I had a Mooer Recho pedal that sounded really nice. Only thing I didn't like about it was the very loud on/off button. If your playing at less than band volumes you'll probably hear the click and the click itself will echo. Maybe it would have broken in a bit after a good amount of use but it was enough for me to get rid of it.
The next delay pedal on my list is the Moog mini analog delay. Pete Thorn has a pretty cool video of it. I think it's $199 new but I've seen a couple go used for a little less than $150.

Well, I am not too worried about the switch sound. My effects will all be switched by a GCX in the rack so they will all be on at all times.

Taking a chance and ordering an Mooer Ana Echo... They are supposedly a DM2/AD9 copy-ish pedal, and it will fit the space I have available perfectly. Talked to a few users and they say they are built pretty solid and haven't failed yet after just over a year of ownership so we will see.

Really liked the old memory man delay, huge footprint unfortunatly. Have a Maxon AD9 that is great in front of an amp, not so much in a serial loop though. Drops volume a bit when engaged. Way Huge delay is good too.

Been using a CC since they came out. No regrets. I'm also a big fan of the Way Huge Supa Puss.

I keep coming back to the Carbon Copy. It's so cheap and you really have to spend twice the cash to get marginally "better". I've had had the Malekko, a couple DMMs including a big box/MN3005, Maxon AD999, Ibanez (highly underrated, IMO), Moog Minifooger, and the blue Way Huge. I went through a few searching for the perfect delay for me, since it's the main effect I use. The only delay I've had I would choose over the Carbon Copy was the big box DMM, but it was huge and I sold it for more than three times the cost of a CC.

Really like the Memory Man, but it's humongous. The Carbon Copy's nice too but a bit warmer than the EHX, IME.

I unfortunately have no room left for a large pedal like the way huge. I've had a CC before and loved it but found a deal on reverb for one of the Ana Echo's for $70 and I snagged it. Got it yesterday and yeah, it switches a little loud but it will eventually be going through my GCX which switches quiet so im not worried about that. Other than that, the thing sounds excellent! Actually a little warmer than the CC imo.
