Just picked this bad boy up from Racerxrated, sounds killer! Yesterday I tried hooking my SYN1 up to it and it’s not playing nice. I don’t have the manual so I’m wondering if this amp has a parallel loop?
It’s awesome! Just a little frustrated I can’t get the SYN1 to work like it does with my other amp. The modules go from low volume fizz to rip your head off volume.Sorry I couldn't help ya...I never use loops anymore since I got my WDW mini rack/line out box going.
Glad you're digging the amp!
Yes it doesdoes the loop have an on / off switch in the back ?
Is there a level knob of some sort right next to it ?Yes it does
Yep that's it.is this the back ???

Thanks Wayne! I’ll give this a try tonight.OK .... I looked at some pics ..... I'm pretty sure it's set up like my Shiva 20th was ..... and my Headfirst Cali that I built ....
once you turn on the loop ....... that FX return Volume on the back becomes your global Master ..... turns the Volume knob in front into the FX send level ...
so you'd want to crank the volume in front pretty high to get a good send level .... and then the knob on the back is your global Master ...
Not that I can tell. Jorg from Bogner told me to turn the level completely off, didn’t make a difference. Is the gate messing with it at all? Could this be an impedance issue between the Syn and the Bogner loop?
If I read everything right ... and understood what you're trying to do .... I think you should be fine once you have the loop " on " .... and that FX Return down to a normal " Master Volume " levelNot that I can tell. Jorg from Bogner told me to turn the level completely off, didn’t make a difference.
That was it Mike! I didn’t even think of the switches on the back. It’s been a set-it and forget-it piece of gear.Synergy also has a 2 position level push button of I remember correctly for different loop levels
Glad it fixed it. The only amp I couldn't make work with the Synergy was an Engl Artist. Parallel loop= no bueno. Really liked the IICP with a 6505.That was it Mike! I didn’t even think of the switches on the back. It’s been a set-it and forget-it piece of gear.
