I think the last time I did this was probably 10 years ago and I think I used an EH 44 magnum poweramp pedal to make some impulses. I just pulled it out of a box as I want to do some captures. Seems like an awful waste of money to blow on a nice linear power amp for something that is done quicker than a 16 year old getting laid for the first time.. I suppose I could rent a PA poweramp though. Tell me about your successes and failures. I suppose it won't hurt to try the Magnum ( if that is even what I used at the time, i can't remember for sure) but if it sucks, let's hear the recommendations.
