I just used 2 packs of coated strings. I will be going back to non coated strings next

...actually, I don't have an acoustic, but I do have an acoustic archtop, and I use D'Addario phosphor bronze or flatwound chromes.

I have never owned a nice acoustic, but I know I like thicc strings and I like big acoustics that sound like pianos

I have Martin Luxe 12s on mine right now. They sound good but I'm not sure I love them. I'll probably go back to Elixirs. I'm having some hand and wrist issues right now so I think i'm going to give 11s a go.
I have the regular 12s. I think i like a but lighter. The Custom light or whatever they are called are pretty good.

I usually use Martin 11's but there is a lot if tension which is fine for cowboy chords but if you want to bend and play some lead stuff it's tough. I went to tens last time and honestly I don't play acoustic enough I guess cuz they were tearing me up. Actually have numbness in my fingertip that won't go away after playing about an hour. I just ordered a set of acoustic 9s so I'll give them a shot. Maybe a set of slinkys like some here mentioned.

I tell you what man, when I got a shorter scale guitar, it blew my mind how much easier it was to play. They are not as full as a dreadnought but still sound amazing.

Elixirs on all of my guitars. For acostic, 12's and 80/20 or phosphor bronze depending on the brightness of the guitar.

Recently saw a video where Bryan Sutton suggested that 13s are where it’s at for acoustic. I haven’t tried them yet but the dude is a master so I believe him.

I do half step bends a ton on acoustic. I play some Django and he bent strings a lot. But I don’t have Orangutan hands.

I always rocked Martin phospher bronze… I have not fucked with an acoustic in decades….last time was when I was trying to pick a fight with the other guitar player in our praise band in church… that little bitch wouldn’t jump though…. I know….who tries to start a fight in church…. It was practice and in the basement plus he was a little bitch that couldn’t play. So fuck him…and his gay ass fender acoustic that sounded like shit….

I didn't like the earthwood strings they sounded dead as soon as I put them on

Unless you live in a really humid environment like Oregon, Washington, or the Brazilian rain forest, coated strings are just not necessary.

Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze all the way for me. Lasts so long and always sounds like fresh strings.
