We probably can't win. People post a new thread about a recently worn out subject and people yell "Use the search function"...so someone searches or Googles something and sees a RT post. I find this all the time when I try and search something about tech that's several years old. You never find any recent posts, always stuff from years ago that's usually out of date due to FW and SW upgrades since. But does George Lynch or Warren DeMartini ever do or need an upgrade?
I do like how they post as if it's a current thread. No "Excuse the necro bump but....etc" Just chiming in like it was a running conversation. A little thing, I know but it seems like conversational courtesy.
I guess what surprises me about this thread is that there is a term called " necro bumps". Course I'm an idiot and Dan probably coined the phrase from bumping into the dead hookers in his closet while reaching for his fedora.

If someone is sitting there with Cheetos-caked fingers, looking at this forum and gets an erection from bumping an old thread, then I say let your freak flag fly.

Well dead or not, either way, what's wrong with that exactly?? Hmm... Maybe we just do things differently in Tennessee! We don't get so hung up on the minor details....
